What is You Know?

You Know is a voluntary site supported by Ling Trust and My Great Life CIC.

It was set up by Jayne Knight and a dedicated parent (who does not wish to be published) to answer questions from the public using a variety of advisors all with extensive experience of community care, legal issues, specialist housing and good supported living for people with learning disabilities and autism, also venturing into advice for older people.

You Know receives over 25 enquiries a week (which has increased to 45 during lockdown) online and is hoping to expand and develop its service with a helpline in the future. It distributes vital up-to-date information through its network of 550 members on social media.
